Conferences & Workshops

10th Annual Rural Health Conference
Cairns Convention Centre, Cairns, QLD
17 - 20 May 2009
http://10thnrhc.ruralhealth.org.au/general/?IntCatId=13

The Conference’s main focus is on those who are involved in rural, regional and remote health every day: the consumers, clinicians and managers in non-metropolitan areas. But participants will also come from other sectors that contribute to the health of people in country Australia. The Conference aims to widen the view of the rural and remote health community and to recognise the roles played by people involved in education, the environment, transport, housing, economic development and community services.

The event reminds us that the rural health sector includes many people who live and work in the major cities and who care about and influence the health of people from country areas.
